Dealing with Acne the Safe and Natural Way

Fortunately for me, a close friend gave me one very simple piece of advice. He pointed out that acne is a result of your body trying to rid itself of certain impurities. In other words, the cause of acne is not on the surface of your skin, but instead, it originates from within your body, and is largely due to the foods you eat, and the foods you fail to eat. This bit of advice sunk in immediately, because I had already know that certain foods can help to clean the blood, while other can help to clean the digestive tract and etc.

If you suffer from acne, then first let me say that I really do have sympathy for you. There was a stage in my life when I was going through the exact same this, so I know as well as anybody just how unpleasant it can be. To make matters even worse, I'm quite self-conscious person, and it often used to feel as though everyone was staring at me. Whether I was just being paranoid or not is of little importance. The fact remains; my acne was a huge embarrassment for me.

I lost count of all the different creams; ointments; and facial cleansers I tried, and I don’t even want to think about the amount of money I must have spent on products that did absolutely nothing for my acne. In fact, many of the things I tried simply made it worse, possibly because I have sensitive skin.

Once I embraced this line of though, I soon started to see my acne being reduced, and with a bit a self disciple and determination, I was finally able to conquer it completely. I haven't tried to publish a book on the subject, and neither do I intend to – I guess I'm just not motivated enough. My own natural acne treatment was incredibly basic. I first bought some organic facial pads which I used to use on my face at least two or three times per day, and then I started focusing on including a few "essential" foods, which were:
  • Alfalfa sprouts
  • Peppermint tea
  • Beetroot
  • Water
  • Fennel
  • Red grapes
  • Nuts, including Brazil nuts and pumpkin seeds
  • Legumes (peas; beans and lentils)
  • Kale (this is the powerhouse of vegetables)
  • Avocado
There are several other foods I focused on, but the 10 I have listed above are the ones which I really tried to have every day without fail. Today, I am pleased to say I don't have even a slight trace of acne. Remember, as the saying goes – you are what you eat.

Can Organic Skin Care Help To Prevent Lines And Wrinkles?

Nobody wants to look old before their time, and in this day and age there really is no need to. Let’s face it; the market is awash with all sorts of skin care products, and if they don't produce the sort of results you’re after, then you can still turn to procedures such as acid peels, laser treatment; microderm abrasion and etc. Obviously these procedures have their downsides as well, one of which is the high cost. Then there are also several risks involved with regards to personal safety.

How Effective Are Organic Skin Care Products?

It isn't really possible for anyone to predict how effective organic skin care products. As with all types of products, quality will vary from one brand to the next. Likewise, different manufacturers use different ingredients in the products, and this alone can have a huge impact on the effectiveness of a particular product.

One thing is for certain however, and that is that organic products are a far better bet that regular mainstream products. Many people remain blissfully unaware of the potential danger they face when using many of the big brand name products. Just remember one thing: The skin cosmetics industry is not regulated by the FDA! They essentially free to do as they want, providing they don’t break any laws.

Sure, all those glossy adverts and TV commercial might be very convincing, but why do many of these companies end up have their adverts taken off the air? The primary reason is actually digital image manipulation. In other words, they make the results look significantly better than you can ever hope to expect. Before you hand over more money for some or other designer brand cream or lotion, first do some research regarding the list of ingredients featured on the label. You have my word for it, you will almost certainly be horrified.

The secret to youthful and more vibrant looking skin lies is good personal hygiene and the use of mild skin care products. I personally like using skin care pads which contain only organic ingredient. If you want to see the ones I’m referring to you can do so here. They are designed especially for people with sensitive skin, and know to be very effective when it comes to certain skin conditions, including acne and rosacea.

I don’t suffer from either of these conditions, but I do use the pads as a preventative measure because like many, I don’t want age before my time. There are of course many good products on the market, but you need to be willing to shop around, and you need to be willing to do some research. Then, once you believe you’ve discovered a real little gem, you need to hang onto it.
